From the most honourable of knowledge is self-adornment with forbearance.
مِنْ أشْرَفِ الْعِلْمِ التَّحَلّي بِالحِلْمِ۔

The basis of knowledge is its dissemination.
مِلاكُ الْعِلْمِ نَشْرُهُ۔

مُدارَسَةُ الْعِلْمِ لَذَّةُ العُلَماءِ۔

Gatherings of knowledge are a bounty.
مَجالِسُ الْعِلْمِ غَنِيمَةٌ۔

The adornments of a man are his knowledge and his forbearance.
مُزَيِّنُ الرَّجُلِ عِلْمُهُ وحِلْمُهُ۔

How good a companion of forbearance knowledge is!
نِعْمَ قَرينُ الحِلْمِ الْعِلْمُ۔

How good a companion of faith knowledge is!
نِعْمَ قَرينُ الإيمانِ الْعِلْمُ۔

How good a guide of faith knowledge is!
نِعْمَ دَليلُ الإيمانِ الْعِلْمُ۔

Do not make enmity with that which you are ignorant of, for indeed most of knowledge is in that...
لاتُعادُوا ما تَجْهَلُونَ، فَإنَّ أكْثَرَ الْعِلْمِ فيما لاتَعْرِفُونَ۔

There is no provision like knowledge.
لاذُخْرَ كالْعِلْمِ۔

There is no treasure more worthwhile than knowledge.
لاكَنْزَ أنْفَعُ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ۔

There is no distinction more honourable than knowledge.
لاعِزِّ أشْرَفُ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ۔

لادَليلَ أنْجَحُ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ۔

لايُؤْخَذُ العِلْمُ إلاّ مِنْ أرْبابِهِ۔

Knowledge is not attained with physical comfort.
لايُدْرَكُ الْعِلْمُ بِراحَةِ الجِسْمِ۔

Knowledge is not purified without piety.
لايَزْكُو الْعِلْمُ بِغَيْرِ وَرَع۔

Nobody obtains knowledge except the one who lengthens his study.
لايُحْرِزُ الْعِلْمَ إلاّ مَنْ يُطيلُ دَرْسَهُ۔
