A refined character is one of the two blessings.
الخُلْقُ السَّجيحُ أحَدُ النِّعْمَتينِ۔

The most beautiful qualities are forbearance and chastity.
أزْيَنُ الشِّيَمِ اَلْحِلمُ والعِفافُ۔

The purest of all people in lineage is the best of them in character.
أطْهَرُ النَّاسِ أعْراقاً أحْسَنُهُمْ أخْلاقاً۔

The most pleased of all people is one whose character is agreeable.
أرْضَى النَّاسِ مَنْ كانَتْ أخْلاقُهُ رَضِيَّةً۔

The best eminence is [in possessing] a beautiful character.
أحْسَنُ السَّناءِ الخُلْقُ السَّجيحُ۔

The best of qualities are generosity, chastity and tranquillity.
أفْضَلُ الشِّيَمِ السَّخاءُ والعِفَّةُ والسَّكينَةُ۔

The best of morals are those which drive you towards noble deeds.
أحْسَنُ الأخْلاقِ ما حَمَلَكَ عَلَى المَكارِمِ۔

One whose character is bad, his death is [considered a time of] happiness.
مَنْ ساءَتْ سَجِيَّتُهُ سَرَّتْ مَنِيَّتُهُ۔

When the character is good, the speech becomes gentle.
إذا حَسُنَ الخُلْقُ لَطُفَ النُّطْقُ۔
