Nothing that is preserved by human beings is like faith in Allah and good deeds.
لاشَْيءَ يَدَّخِرُهُ الإنْسانُ كَالإيمانِ بِاللّهِ وصَنايعِ الإحْسانِ۔

—غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم
The faith of a man is deduced by his submission and obedience [to Allah].
يُسْتَدَلُّ عَلى إيمانِ الرَّجُلِ بِالتَّسْليمِ ولُزومِ الطَّاعَةِ۔
—Ghurar al-Hikam
—غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم
The faith [of a person] is deduced by increased fear [of Allah], controlling lust and overcoming...
يُسْتَدَلُّ عَلَى الإيمانِ بِكَثْرَةِ التُّقى، ومِلْكِ الشَّهْوَةِ، وغَلَبَةِ الهَوى۔

—غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم
Faith requires certitude.
يَحتاجُ الإيمانُ إلَى الإيقانِ۔

Faith requires sincerity.
يَحتاجُ الإيمانُ إلىَ الإخلاصِ۔

—غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم
One who believes in Allah [and attests to His oneness] is saved.
مَنْ صَدَّقَ اللّهَ سُبْحانَهُ نَجى۔

The foundation of faith is total submission to the will of Allah.
أصْلُ الإيمانِ حُسْنُ التَّسْليمِ لأمرِ اللّهِ۔

—غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم
Have faith and you will be safe.
آمِنْ تَأمَنْ۔
