The Sharī‘ah is for the benefit [and reformation] of mankind.
الشَّريعَةُ صَلاحُ البَريَّةِ۔

Religion is a treasure and knowledge is a guide [to it].
الدّينُ ذُخْرٌ، والعِلمُ دَليلٌ۔

Religion is a tree whose roots are submission and contentment.
اَلدّينُ شَجَرَةٌ، أصْلُها التَّسليمُ والرِّضا۔

Religion deters [one] from the unlawful.
اَلدّينُ يَصُدُّ عَنِ المَحارِمِ۔

Religion is not reformed except by the intellect.
اَلدّينُ لايُصْلِحُهُ إلاّ العَقْلُ۔

If you make your religion follow your worldly desires, you will have destroyed your religion and...
إنْ جَعَلْتَ دينَكَ تَبَعاً لِدُنياكَ أهْلَكْتَ دينَكَ ودُنْياكَ، وكُنْتَ فِي الآخِرَةِ مِنَ الخاسِرينَ۔

The fruit of religion is trustworthiness.
ثَمَرَةُ الدّينِ اَلأمانَةُ۔

The fruit of religion is strong conviction.
ثَمَرَةُ الدّينِ قُوَّةُ اليقينِ۔

Three things are the disgrace of religion: lewdness, treachery and betrayal [of trust].
ثَلاثٌ هُنَّ شَيْنُ الدّينِ: اَلفُجُورُ،وَ الغَدْرُ، والخيانَةُ۔

Three things are the consolidators of religion: chastity, piety and modesty.
ثَلاثٌ هُنَّ جِماعُ الدّينِ: اَلِعفَّةُ، والوَرَعُ، والحَياءُ۔

Three things are the perfection of religion: sincerity, certitude and contentment.
ثَلاثٌ هُنَّ كَمالُ الدّينِ: الإخلاصُ، واليَقينُ، والتَّقَنُّعُ۔

The steadfastness of religion is through the strength of conviction.
ثَباتُ الدّينِ بِقُوَّةِ اليَقينِ۔

The beauty of religion is piety.
جَمالُ الدّينِ الوَرَعُ۔

The excellence of [one’s adherence to] religion stems from the strength of [one’s] certitude.
حُسْنُ الدّينِ مِنْ قُوَّةِ اليَقينِ۔

Preserving the faith is the fruit of cognizance and the peak of wisdom.
حِفْظُ الدّينِ ثَمَرةُ المَعْرِفَةِ، ورأسُ الحِكْمَةِ۔

The best course of religion is piety.
خَيْرُ أُمُورِ الدّينِ الوَرَعُ۔
