Hadith #974

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. May peace and blessings be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), his pure progeny, and his righteous companions.

The provided Hadith of Imam Ali (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) states,

Allah, the Glorified, has not created anything in vain so that He may be entertained.

Allah says in Surah Al-Mu'minun (23:115):

Did you think that We had created you in play (without any purpose), and that you would not be brought back to Us?

This verse reminds us that our existence is not a result of mere amusement or entertainment for Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ). Rather, we have been created with a purpose, and we will be held accountable for our actions in the Hereafter.

Furthermore, in Surah Al-Qamar (54:49), Allah says,

Indeed, all things We created with predestination.

This verse affirms that everything in the universe has been created with a specific destiny and purpose. Nothing is haphazard or without meaning in the divine plan of Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ).
