Hadith #1024

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all worlds. May peace and blessings be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), his pure progeny, and his noble companions.

The provided Hadith of Imam Ali (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) warns us to be cautious of any action or matter that not only degrades the person performing it but also diminishes their worth and respect in the eyes of others. This Hadith emphasizes the importance of maintaining one's dignity and honor in all aspects of life.

The phrase (degrades the one who performs it and abases him) "أزرى بفاعِلِهِ وحَقَّرَهُ" emphasizes the negative impact that certain actions can have on an individual's self-worth and dignity. It warns against engaging in actions that belittle or humiliate oneself, as this goes against the principles of self-respect and honor.

To further understand the significance of this Hadith, let us turn to the Quran for guidance.
