Self-Sacrifice

One of best [form of] benevolence is self-sacrifice. مِنْ أحْسَنِ الإحسانِ اَلإيثارُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم One of the most excellent choices is adorning oneself with selflessness. مِنْ أفْضلِ الإختيارِ التَّحَلّي بِالإيثار۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Nobility cannot be fully achieved but by self-restraint and self-sacrifice. لاتُكْمَلُ المَكارِمُ إلاّ بِالعَفافِ والإيثارِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم
