Hadith #2342

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all worlds. Peace and blessings be upon Muhammad, his family, his companions, and the righteous successors.

The Arabic Hadith of Imam Ali (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) states,

اِصْطِناعُ العاقِلِ (الكَريمِ) أحْسَنُ فَضيلَة۔

This Hadith can be translated as,

The good turn done by an intelligent (or an honourable) person is most excellent [in] merit.

Let us delve into the meaning of some important words in this Hadith. "اِصْطِناعُ" refers to a good deed or an act of kindness.
