Hadith #4426

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all worlds. May peace and blessings be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), his pure progeny, and his noble companions.

The provided Hadith of Imam Ali (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) emphasizes the importance of being content and satisfied with the decree of Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ) in the face of great calamities. Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear...

And whatever strikes you of disaster - it is for what your hands have earned; but He pardons much.

Their satisfaction with Allah's decree not only makes the calamity easier to bear, but also opens doors for new and better opportunities.
