Hadith #7652

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. May peace and blessings be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), his purified progeny, and his noble companions.

The Hadith of Imam Ali (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) states,

The best of speech is that which is affirmed by good actions.

This beautiful saying emphasizes the importance of aligning our words with our deeds. Let us delve deeper into the meaning of this Hadith and explore its significance in light of the Quran.

The word (ahsanu) "أحْسَنُ" in this Hadith means "the best" or "the most excellent." It signifies the highest level of goodness and perfection. (al-maqal) "المَقالِ" refers to speech or words. And (saddaqahu) "صَدَّقَهُ" means to affirm or validate. Finally, (husn al-fi'al) "حُسْنُ الفِعالِ" refers to good actions or righteous deeds.
