Hadith #3124

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all worlds, and blessings and peace be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), his pure progeny, and his noble companions.

The Arabic Hadith of Imam Ali (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) states,

المَخْذولُ مَنْ لَهُ إلَى اللِّئامِ حاجَةٌ۔

This can be translated as,

The forsaken is he who has to ask for something from the ignoble.

Imam Ali's (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) beautiful saying highlights the importance of maintaining our dignity and self-respect as Muslims. It reminds us to seek assistance from Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ) and to avoid compromising our values by relying on those who may not have our best interests at heart.
