Hadith #5523

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. May peace and blessings be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), his pure progeny, and his noble companions.

The Arabic Hadith of Imam Ali (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) states,

الصبر على المصيبة يجزل المثوبة

which can be translated as,

Patience in times of hardship makes reward abundant.

This enlightening Hadith of Imam Ali (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) emphasizes the importance of patience and its connection to the abundance of rewards in the sight of Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ).

And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient.

This verse reminds us that trials and hardships are an inevitable part of life. However, those who remain patient during these tests are promised glad tidings from Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ).

Only those who are patient shall receive their reward in full, without reckoning.
