Hadith #7753

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all worlds. Peace and blessings be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), his pure progeny, and his noble companions.

The Arabic Hadith of Imam Ali (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) states,

مَنْ أحْسَنَ أفْعالَهُ أعْرَبَ عَنْ وُفُورِ عَقْلِهِ۔

This Hadith emphasizes the correlation between one's actions and the abundance of their intellect. Let us delve into the deeper meaning of this Hadith in light of the Quran.

The word (ahsan) "أحْسَنَ" in this Hadith means to do good or to excel in goodness. It implies performing actions that are morally upright, beneficial, and in accordance with the teachings of Islam. The term (af'alah) "أفْعالَهُ" refers to one's actions or deeds. It encompasses all aspects of a person's behavior, including their words, intentions, and physical actions. The phrase (an wufoori 'aqlihi) "عَنْ وُفُورِ عَقْلِهِ" can be translated as
