Hadith #6773

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. May peace and blessings be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), his pure progeny, and his righteous companions.

The Arabic Hadith of Imam Ali (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) states:

مَنِ اعْتَزَلَ النّاسَ سَلِمَ مِنْ شَرِّهِمْ۔

This can be translated into English as:

One who secludes himself from the people is safe from their evil.

To understand the deeper meaning of this Hadith, let us first analyze some important words. The word (i'tazala) "اعْتَزَلَ" means to seclude oneself or to withdraw from society.
