Hadith #1318

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all worlds. Peace and blessings be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), his pure Ahl al-Bayt, and his noble companions.

The provided Hadith of Imam Ali (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) states, "غايَةُ المُؤْمِنِ الجَنَّةُ۔" This can be translated as,

The goal of a believer is Paradise.

Let us delve into the significance of this Hadith in light of the Quran.

And there will circulate among them [servant] boys [especially] for them, as if they were pearls well-protected.

This verse highlights the beauty and luxury that awaits the believers in Paradise.

Furthermore, in Surah Al-Waqi'ah (56:22-24), Allah describes Paradise as a reward for the righteous, saying,

And [for them are] fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes, the likenesses of pearls well-protected, as reward for what they used to do.

These verses emphasize the rewards and pleasures that await the believers in the Hereafter.

Now, let us reflect on the essence of Imam Ali's statement. The goal of a believer is not merely the attainment of worldly desires or temporary pleasures.
