Hadith #2268

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all worlds. May peace and blessings be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), his pure progeny, the Ahl al-Bayt, and his noble companions.

The Arabic Hadith of Imam Ali (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) states, "لِكُلِّ حَسَنَة ثَوابٌ۔" which translates to

For every good deed there is recompense.

This concise statement holds connotation and serves as a reminder of the divine justice and mercy of Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ).

Let us delve into the words of this Hadith to gain a deeper understanding. The word (hasanah) "حَسَنَة" refers to any good deed or righteous action performed by a Muslim. Whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while he is a believer - We will surely cause him to live a good life, and We will surely give them their reward [in the Hereafter] according to the best of what they used to do.

This verse highlights the comprehensive nature of the recompense promised by Allah. Not only will the believers be rewarded in the Hereafter, but they will also be granted a good life in this world.
