مَنْ رَضِيَ مِنَ النَّاسِ بِالمُسالَمَةِ سَلِمَ مِنْ غَوائِلِهِمْ۔
One who is pleased to live peacefully with the people will be safe from their adversities.

The Arabic Hadith of Imam Ali (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) states,
مَنْ رَضِيَ مِنَ النَّاسِ بِالمُسالَمَةِ سَلِمَ مِنْ غَوائِلِهِمْ۔
This can be translated as,
One who is pleased to live peacefully with the people will be safe from their adversities.

And the retribution for an evil act is an evil one like it, but whoever pardons and makes reconciliation - his reward is [due] from Allah. Indeed, He does not like wrongdoers
