he most unjust of men is one who establishes the practice of oppression and abolishes the practice... أظْلَمُ النَّاسِ مَنْ سَنَّ سُنَنَ الجَوْرِ، ومَحى سُنَنَ العَدْلِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم The unjust is blameworthy. الظّالِمُ مَلُومٌ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Punishment awaits the unjust. اَلظَّالِمُ يَنْتَظِرُ العُقُوْبَةَ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم On the Day of Judgment, the oppressor of the people will be afflicted, chastised and despoiled... ظالِمُ النّاسِ يَوْمَ القِيمَةِ مَنْكُوبٌ بِظُلْمِهِ مُعَذَّبٌ مَحْرُوبٌ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم For every oppressor there is a reprisal. لِكُلِّ ظالِم اِنْتِقامٌ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم For every oppressor there is a punishment that he cannot escape, and a downfall that will not pass... لِكُلِّ ظالِم عُقُوْبَةٌ لاتَعْدُوهُ، وصَرْعَةٌ لاتَخْطُوهُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم For the unjust there is reprisal. لِلظّالِمِ اِنْتِقامٌ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم For the unjust there is a biting of his hand. لِلظّالِمِ بِكَفِّهِ عَضَّةٌ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم There are three signs of the unjust among the people: being unjust to the one who is above him by... لِلظّالِمِ مِنَ الرِّجالِ ثَلاثُ عَلامات: يَظْلِمُ مَنْ فَوْقَهُ بِالمَعْصِيَةِ، ومَنْ دُوْنَهُ بِالغَلَبَةِ، ويُظاهِرُ الْقَوْمَ... —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم One who oppresses [others] gets oppressed. مَنْ ظَلَمَ ظُلِمَ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم One who acts unjustly corrupts his affair. مَنْ ظَلَمَ أفْسَدَ أمْرَهُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم One who oppresses [others] breaks [and shortens] his lifespan. مَنْ جارَ قَصَمَ عُمْرَهُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم One who is oppressive is destroyed by his oppression. مَنْ جارَ أهْلَكَهُ جَوْرُهُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم One who is unjust is annihilated by his injustice. مَنْ ظَلَمَ دَمَّرَ عَلَيْهِ ظُلْمُهُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم One who is unjust, his downfall is great. مَنْ ظَلَمَ عَظُمَتْ صَرْعَتُهُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم One who oppresses, his destruction is hastened. مَنْ بَغى عُجِّلَتْ هَلْكَتُهُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم One who is unjust is ruined by his injustice. مَنْ ظَلَمَ أوْبَقَهُ ظُلْمُهُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم One who is unjust, his life is broken [and shortened]. مَنْ ظَلَمَ قُصِمَ عُمْرُهُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Whoever oppresses the servants of Allah, it is Allah who becomes his enemy instead of His servants. مَنْ ظَلَمَ عِبادَاللّهِ كانَ اللّهُ خَصْمَهُ دُونَ عِبادِهِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Whoever oppresses the people, Allah becomes his adversary. مَنْ ظَلَمَ العِبادَ كانَ اللّهُ خَصْمَهُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم One who is unjust, his life gets broken and his injustice annihilates him. مَنْ ظَلَمَ قُصِمَ عُمْرُهُ وَدَمَرَّ عَلَيْهِ ظُلْمُهُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم The destruction of one who acts with oppression is hastened by Allah. مَنْ عَمِلَ بِالجَوْرِ عَجَّلَ اللّهُ هُلْكَهُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Whoever embarks on the clear path of injustice, his days are abhorred. مَنْ رَكِبَ مَحَجَّةَ الظُّلْمِ كُرِهَتْ أيّامُهُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم How close is chastisement to the unjust! ما أقْرَبَ النِّقْمَةَ مِنَ الظَّلُومِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم
