Matters

Do not embark on any matter until you have knowledge of it. لاتُقْدِمَنَّ على أمْر حتّى تُخْبِرَهُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Make [matters] easy and not arduous; make [them] light and not strenuous. يَسِّرُُوا وَلا تُعَسِّرُوا، وخَفِّفُوا ولا تُثَقِّلُوا۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Every matter has an outcome. لِكُلِّ أمْر مَ آلٌ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم What has not [yet] happened can be deduced from what has transpired. يُسْتَدَلُّ عَلى مالَمْ يَكُنْ بِما قَد كانَ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Let the most beloved matters to you be the most universal in justice and the most equitable with... لِيَكُنْ أحَبُّ الأُمورِ إلَيكَ أعَمَّها في العَدْلِ وأقسَطَها بِالحقِّ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Be wary of every matter that degrades the one who performs it when it becomes apparent, and abases... إحذَرْ كُلَّ أمْر إذا ظَهَرَ، أزرى بفاعِلِهِ وحَقَّرَهُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Be wary of every matter that ruins the Hereafter and improves the worldly life. إحذَرْ كُلَّ أمْر يُفْسِدُ الآجِلَةَ، ويُصْلِحُ الدَّانيةَ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم
