Hadith #7356

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. May peace and blessings be upon the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), his pure progeny, and his noble companions.

The Arabic Hadith of Imam Ali (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) states, "العِلْمُ أعْظَمُ كَنْز" which translates to

Knowledge is the greatest treasure.

This impactful Hadith highlights the immense value and importance of knowledge in the life of a Muslim.

The word (knowledge) "عِلْمُ" refers to the understanding, awareness, and comprehension of facts, information, and wisdom. It encompasses both religious and worldly knowledge. Are those who know equal to those who do not know?

Furthermore, in Surah Al-Mujadila (58:11), Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ) states,
