Hadith #5697

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. Peace and blessings be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), his pure progeny, the Ahl al-Bayt, and his noble companions.

The Arabic Hadith of Imam Ali (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) states, "الصدقة أفضل القرب" which translates to

Charity is the best means of attaining closeness [to Allah].

This enlightening Hadith highlights the significance of charity in our journey towards seeking nearness to Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ).

O you who have believed, spend from that which We have provided for you before there comes a Day in which there is no exchange and no friendship and no intercession. And the disbelievers - they are the wrongdoers

Furthermore, in Surah Al-Hadid, Allah states, (57:11)

Who is it that would loan Allah a goodly loan so He may multiply it for him many times over? And it is Allah who withholds and grants abundance, and to Him you will be returned
