Hadith #8425

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. May peace and blessings be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), his pure progeny, and his noble companions.

The Hadith of Imam Ali (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) states,

Lineage is not defined by the fathers and mothers, rather [it is defined] by the praiseworthy merits.

This enlightening saying highlights the importance of virtues and noble qualities in determining one's true lineage and worth, rather than mere biological descent.
