Hadith #8636

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all worlds. May peace and blessings be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), his pure progeny, and his noble companions.

And during the night, rise from sleep for prayer as an additional offering for you; it is expected that your Lord will resurrect you to a praised station.

This verse emphasizes the importance of the night prayer, which includes recitation and reflection upon the Qur'an. By engaging with the Qur'an, we establish a connection with it, and it becomes a means of intercession for us on the Day of Judgment.

Furthermore, in Surah Al-Furqan (25:30), Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ) says,

And the Messenger has said, 'O my Lord, indeed my people have taken this Qur'an as [a thing] abandoned.'

The motivation behind seeking the Qur'an's intercession and avoiding its complaint lies in the immense rewards and blessings promised by Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ). In Surah Al-Baqarah (2:197), Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ) says,

And take provisions, but indeed, the best provision is Taqwa. So fear Me, O you of understanding.

Taqwa, often translated as God-consciousness or piety, is nurtured through our relationship with the Qur'an. By seeking the Qur'an's intercession, we strive to attain the highest level of Taqwa and secure the ultimate provision for the Hereafter.

The consequences of the Qur'an's intercession or complaint are profound. It is a reflection of our commitment to seeking knowledge, understanding, and implementing the teachings of the Qur'an. The Qur'an is a source of guidance, wisdom, and mercy for all Muslims. It is incumbent upon us to engage with it, reflect upon its verses, and apply its teachings in our daily lives. By doing so, we ensure that the Qur'an intercedes for us on the Day of Judgment, testifying to our dedication and sincerity. Conversely, neglecting the Qur'an and failing to fulfill our responsibilities towards it will result in its complaint, affirming our disregard for its guidance.
