Hadith #6387

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all worlds. May peace and blessings be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), his pure progeny, and his noble companions.

The Hadith of Imam Ali (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) states,

When Allah loves a servant, He adorns him with tranquillity and forbearing.

This beautiful Hadith highlights the immense blessings and favors that Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ) bestows upon those whom He loves. Let us delve into the deeper meaning of this Hadith in light of the Quran.

The first important word in this Hadith is (zayyanahu) "زَيَّنَهُ", which means to adorn or beautify. Indeed, the righteous will be in gardens and springs, accepting what their Lord has given them. Indeed, they were before that doers of good

They become a source of inspiration for others, demonstrating the beauty and power of true submission to Allah's will.

Reflecting on this Hadith, we are reminded of the importance of cultivating these qualities in our own lives. We should strive to attain the love of Allah by seeking tranquillity and forbearance. This can be achieved through acts of worship, such as prayer, remembrance of Allah, and seeking knowledge. It also requires us to develop a deep trust in Allah's plan and to surrender our affairs to Him.
