Hadith #2427

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all worlds. May peace and blessings be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), his pure progeny, and his noble companions.

The Hadith of Imam Ali (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) states,

If you were to see benevolence in the form of a person, you would surely see him as a beautiful form that surpasses the worlds [in its beauty].

This thought-provoking saying of Imam Ali highlights the essence of true benevolence and its manifestation in a person's character.

Let us delve into the key words of this Hadith to gain a deeper understanding. The word (ihsan) "إحْسانَ" refers to acts of kindness, goodness, and excellence. There shall be no blame upon those who believe and do righteous deeds for what they have eaten [in the past] if they [now] fear Allah and believe and do righteous deeds, and then fear Allah and believe, and then fear Allah and do good; and Allah loves the doers of good.
