Hadith #3367

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all worlds, and blessings be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), his pure family, his noble companions, and all the righteous Muslims.

Imam Ali (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) reminds us that our sins should be our primary concern because they have severe consequences both in this world and the Hereafter. Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ) warns us in Surah Al-Imran, verse 185:

Every soul will taste death, and you will only be given your [full] compensation on the Day of Resurrection. So he who is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has attained [his desire]. And what is the life of this world except the enjoyment of delusion.

This verse reminds us of the transient nature of this worldly life and the ultimate reality of death and the Hereafter. Our sins can lead us astray and distance us from the mercy and forgiveness of Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ). Therefore, it is crucial to constantly evaluate our actions and seek repentance for our sins.
