مِنَ الكَرَمِ أنْ تَتَجاوَزَ عَنِ الإسائَةِ إلَيْكَ۔

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. May peace and blessings be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), his pure progeny, and his noble companions.
The Arabic Hadith of Imam Ali (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) states,
مِنَ الكَرَمِ أنْ تَتَجاوَزَ عَنِ الإسائَةِ إلَيْكَ۔
This Hadith can be translated as,
It is from nobleness for you to overlook the wrong that has been done to you.
Let us delve into the meaning of some important words in this Hadith. The word (karam) "كَرَمِ" refers to nobleness, generosity, and magnanimity. It signifies a high moral character and a noble disposition. The word (tatajawaza) "تَتَجاوَزَ" means to overlook, forgive, or pardon. Furthermore, in Surah Ash-Shura (42:37), Allah says,
And those who avoid the major sins and immoralities, and when they are angry, they forgive.

Imam Ali (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ), known for his immense knowledge and wisdom, teaches us that it is a mark of nobleness to overlook the wrongs done to us.
