Hadith #4020

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. May peace and blessings be upon the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), his family (Ahl al-Bayt), and his companions.

The provided Hadith of Imam Ali (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) states,

The safety of religion is in seclusion from the people.

The word (salamatu) "سَلامَةُ" in this Hadith refers to the safety, security, and preservation of one's religion. It encompasses the protection of one's faith, beliefs, and practices from any harm or corruption. The phrase (fi i'tizal al-nas) "فِي اعتِزالِ النَّاسِ" translates to

in seclusion from the people.

This Hadith highlights the significance of seclusion as a means of safeguarding one's faith. And keep yourself patient [by being] with those who call upon their Lord in the morning and the evening, seeking His countenance.

separate yourself from those who take their religion in vain.
