Hadith #5705

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. May peace and blessings be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), his pure progeny, and his noble companions.

The hadith of Imam Ali (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) states,

Truthfulness is the cornerstone of faith and the adornment of the human being.

Furthermore, in Surah Al-Ahzab (33:35), Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ) praises the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) by saying,

Indeed, the Muslim men and Muslim women, the believing men and believing women, the obedient men and obedient women, the truthful men and truthful women, the patient men and patient women, the humble men and humble women, the charitable men and charitable women, the fasting men and fasting women, and the men who remember Allah often and the women who do so - for them Allah has prepared forgiveness and a great reward.

This verse highlights the significance of truthfulness as one of the qualities that Allah rewards generously.

Imam Ali's statement reminds us that truthfulness is not only a virtue but also a reflection of our faith.
