Hadith #11233

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all worlds. May peace and blessings be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), his pure progeny, and his noble companions.

The Arabic Hadith of Imam Ali (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) states,

مَنْ تَوَكَّلَ عَلَى اللّهِ غَنِيَ عَنْ عِبادِهِ۔

This can be translated as,

One who trusts in Allah has no need for [seeking help from] His servants.

Another verse that reinforces the idea of tawakkal is found in Surah At-Talaq (65:3), where Allah says,

And whoever relies upon Allah - then He is sufficient for him.

Imam Ali's (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) Hadith encourages us to reflect on the consequences of relying solely on Allah. When we trust in Allah, we free ourselves from the shackles of dependence on others. This does not mean that we isolate ourselves or neglect our responsibilities towards our fellow human beings. Rather, it means that we recognize that Allah is the ultimate source of all help and support, and He can provide for us in ways that we cannot even fathom.

Trusting in Allah empowers us to face challenges with strength and resilience. It instills in us a sense of contentment and peace, knowing that whatever happens, it is ultimately Allah's decree and He has a greater plan for us.
