يَنْبَغي لِمَنْ عَرَفَ اللّهَ سُبْحانَهُ أنْ يَرْغَبَ فيما لَدَيْهِ۔
It behoves the one who knows Allah, the Glorified, to desire that which is with Him.

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. May peace and blessings be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), his pure progeny, and his noble companions.
The Hadith of Imam Ali (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) states,
It behoves the one who knows Allah, the Glorified, to desire that which is with Him.

And seek help through patience and prayer, and indeed, it is difficult except for the humbly submissive [to Allah]

Additionally, in Surah Al-Jumu'ah, Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ) says, (Quran 62:11)
And when they saw a transaction or a diversion, [O Muhammad], they rushed to it and left you standing. Say, 'What is with Allah is better than diversion and than a than a transaction, and Allah is the best of providers'
This verse emphasizes the superiority of what is with Allah over worldly distractions and pursuits. It is only through recognizing and knowing Allah that one can truly internalize this truth and prioritize the eternal rewards over temporary pleasures.
Now, let us reflect on the impactful message of this Hadith. Imam Ali (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ), known for his immense knowledge and wisdom, reminds us that those who truly know Allah should desire and strive for the blessings and rewards that await them in the Hereafter. This desire should be rooted in a deep understanding of the greatness and magnificence of Allah, as well as a recognition of His infinite mercy and generosity.
When one truly knows Allah, they are aware of His attributes such as His mercy, forgiveness, and abundance. They understand that what is with Allah is far superior to anything this world has to offer.
