Hadith #1912

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all worlds. Peace and blessings be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), his pure progeny, and his righteous companions.

The Arabic Hadith of Imam Ali (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) states, "لِسانُ الجَهْلِ الخُرْقُ۔" which translates to

The language of ignorance is impoliteness.

This amazing Hadith of Imam Ali (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) highlights the negative consequences of speaking without knowledge and understanding.

Let us delve into the important words of this Hadith. (Lisan) "لِسانُ" refers to the tongue or language, while (Al-Jahli) "الجَهْلِ" means ignorance.
