Hadith #5562

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. Peace and blessings be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), his pure progeny, and his noble companions.

The Arabic Hadith of Imam Ali (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) states, "الصبر عدة للبلاء" which translates to

Patience is an asset for [facing] affliction.

This impactful saying of Imam Ali (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) highlights the importance of patience in times of adversity and challenges.

The word (sabr) "صبر", translated as "patience," encompasses a deep and multifaceted meaning. And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient

Another verse that emphasizes the value of patience is found in Surah Al-Imran, where Allah says, (Quran 11:115)

And be patient, for indeed, Allah does not allow to be lost the reward of those who do good
