Hadith #8558

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. May peace and blessings be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), his pure progeny, and his noble companions.

The Arabic Hadith of Imam Ali (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) states, "لارُشْدَ كَالفِكْرِ۔" which translates to

There is no [means to] right guidance like reflection.

This beautiful Hadith emphasizes the importance of deep contemplation and reflection in seeking guidance and attaining righteousness.

Let us delve into the key words of this Hadith to gain a better understanding. The word (rushd) "رُشْدَ" refers to guidance or the right path. O you who have believed, fear Allah. And let every soul look to what it has put forth for tomorrow - and fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what you do.

Who remember Allah while standing or sitting or [lying] on their sides and give thought to the creation of the heavens and the earth, [saying], 'Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are You [above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire.'

This verse encourages believers to reflect upon the creation of the universe and recognize the purpose behind it. By contemplating the magnificence and intricacy of Allah's creation, we can develop a deeper understanding of His wisdom and power, which in turn strengthens our faith and guides us towards the right path.
