Whoever loves us with his heart, supports us with his speech and fights our enemies with his sword,... مَنْ أحَبَّنا بِقَلْبِهِ وَكانَ مَعَنا بِلِسانِهِ وقاتَلَ عَدُوَّنا بِسَيْفِهِ فَهُوَ مَعَنا فيِ الْجَنَّةِ في دَرَجَتِنا۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Whoever loves us with his heart and supports us with his speech but does not fight alongside us... مَنْ أحَبَّنا بِقَلْبِهِ وأعانَنا بِلِسانِهِ ولَمْ يُقاتِلْ مَعَنا بِيَدِهِ فَهُوَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ دُونَ دَرَجَتِنا۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Whoever loves us with his heart but pretends to hate us with his tongue will go to Paradise. مَنْ أحَبَّنا بِقَلْبِهِ وأبْغَضَنا بِلِسانِهِ فَهُوَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم He who loves us should emulate our actions and clothe himself with piety. مَنْ أحَبَّنا فَلْيَعْمَلْ بِعَمَلِنا، ولْيَتَجَلْبَبِ الْوَرَعَ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم One who loves us should prepare to be covered with afflictions. مَنْ أحَبَّنا فَلْيُعِدَّ لِلْبَلاءِ جِلْباباً۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم One who befriends us should have a thick skin for tribulations [that will befall him]. مَنْ تَوَلانا فَلْيَلْبَسْ لِلْمِحَنِ إهاباً۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Two types of people are destroyed because of me: the fanatic lover and the extreme hater. هَلَكَ فِيَّ رَجُلانِ: مُحِبٌّ غال، ومُبْغِضٌ قال۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم If a mountain loved me, it would crumble. لَوْ أحَبَّنِي جَبَلٌ لَتَهافَتَ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم
