Intention

Whoever has an evil intention is deprived of his aspiration. مَنْ أساءَ النِّيَّةَ مُنِعَ الأُمْنِيَّةَ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Whoever makes his intention sincere is purified from vileness. مَنْ أخْلَصَ النِيَّةَ تَنَزَّهَ عَنِ الدَّنِيَّةِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم One whose intention is good, his reward is increased, his life becomes good and affection for him... مَنْ حَسُنَتْ نِيَّتُهُ كَثُرَتْ مَثُوبَتُهُ وطابَتْ عيشَتُهُ ووَجَبَتْ مَوَدَّتُهُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم One whose intention is good is assisted with God-given success. مَنْ حَسُنَتْ نِيَّتُهُ أمَدَّهُ التَّوْفيقُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم A person’s attainment of all that he wishes for, such as a good life, the security of his flock... وُصُولُ المَرْءِ إلى كُلِّ ما يَبْتَغيهِ مِنْ طيبِ عَيْشِهِ وأمْنِ سِرْبِهِ وسَعَةِ رِزْقِهِ بِحُسْنِ نِيَّتِهِ وسَعَةِ خُلْقِهِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم He who has no intention has no action. لاعَمَلَ لِمَنْ لانِيَّةَ لَهُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم He who has no knowledge has no intention. لانِيَّةَ لِمَنْ لاعِلْمَ لَهُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم One whose resolve [and intention] is evil, his death is a cause of happiness. مَنْ ساءَ عَقْدُهُ سَرَّ فَقْدُهُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم
