The Home

A beautiful home is one of the two Paradises. اَلمَنْزِلُ البَهِيُّ أحَدُ الْجَنَّتَيْنِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم One whose space is restricted, his comfort is less. مَنْ ضاقَتْ ساحَتُهُ قَلَّتْ راحَتُهُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Avoid [building homes in] places of negligence and wickedness and [places where] there is a paucity... اِحْذَرْ مَنازِلَ الْغَفْلَةِ والْجَفاءِ وقِلَّةَ الأعْوانِ عَلى طاعَةِ اللّهِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم How many a builder has built that which he does not reside in. كَمْ مِنْ بان مالا يَسْكُنُهُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم
