Perfection

Perfection is in three things: Patience in calamities, piety in pursuits and fulfilling the needs... اَلْكَمالُ في ثَلاث، اَلصَّبْرُ عَلَى النَّوائِبِ، والتَّوَرُّعُ فِي المَطالِبِ، وَإسْعافُ الطّالِبِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Perfection [of what is desired] is non-existent in this world. اَلْكَمالُ فِي الدُّنيا مَفْقُودٌ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم You will never attain perfection until you rise above imperfection. لَنْ تُدْرِكَ الكَمالَ حَتّى تَرْقى عَنِ النَّقْصِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم From the perfection of a human being and the abundance of his merit is his own feeling of... مِنْ كَمالِ الإنْسانِ ووُفُورِ فَضْلِهِ اِسْتِشْعارُهُ بِنَفْسِهِ النُّقْصانَ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم
