Earnings

The purest of earnings is lawful earning. أزْكَى الْمَكاسِبِ كَسْبُ الحَلالِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم The worst kind of earning is the unlawful [earning]. بِئْسَ الْكَسْبُ الحَرامُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Embarking on the terrifying [and surmounting one’s fears] brings wealth. رُكُوبُ الأهْوالِ يَكْسِبُ الأمْوالَ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم One who earns by unlawful means accumulates sins. مَنِ اكْتَسَبَ حَراماً اِحْتَقَبَ آثاماً۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم
