Loquaciousness

Loquaciousness has been paired up with boredom. قُرِنَ الإكْثارُ بِالمَلَلِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم One who is loquacious is abandoned. مَنْ أكْثَرَ هُجِرَ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم One who talks too much makes others fed up. مَنْ كَثُرَ مَقالُهُ سُئِمَ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم One who speaks too much [makes] blunders. مَنْ كَثُرَ كَلامُهُ زَلَّ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم One who speaks too much gets rebuked more. مَنْ كَثُرَ كَلامُهُ كَثُرَ مَلامُهُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم One who does too much of something is known by it. مَنْ أكْثَرَ مِنْ شَيْء عُرِفَ بِهِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم
