A strong person is one who subdues his pleasures.
اَلْقَوِيُّ مَنْ قَمَعَ لَذَّتَهُ۔

—غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم
The bane of the strong person is underestimating the enemy.
آفَةُ القَوِيِّ اِسْتِضْعافُ الخَصْمِ۔

—غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم
When you [wish to] become strong, then be strong in the obedience of Allah, the Glorified.
إذا قَويتَ فَاقْوِ عَلى طاعَةِ اللّهِ سُبْحانَهُ۔
