Despair

I am amazed at the one who loses hope while he has with him salvation in the form of repentance. عَجِبْتُ لِمَنْ يَقْنَطُ ومَعَهُ النَّجاةُ وهُوَ الاِسْتِغْفارُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Despair kills its owner. قَتَلَ القُنُوطُ صاحِبَهُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Every despairing one has lost hope. كُلُّ قانِط آئِسٌ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم
