Understanding is [achieved] though intelligence.
اَلْفَهْمُ بِالفِطْنَةِ۔

مَنْ تَفَهَّمَ فَهِمَ۔

One who understands learns the depth of knowledge.
مَنْ فَهِمَ عَلِمَ غَوْرَ العِلْمِ۔

مَنْ عَدِمَ الفَهْمَ عَنِ اللّهِ سُبْحانَهُ لَمْ يَنْتَفِعْ بِمَوْعِظَةِ واعِظ۔

One who possesses understanding does not become needy.
مَاافْتَقَرَ مَنْ مَلَكَ فَهْماً۔
