Neglect

Be wary of neglect for verily it causes censure. اِحْذَرُوا التَّفْريطَ فَإنَّهُ يُوجِبُ المَلامَةَ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Neglect is an affliction of the capable. اَلتَفْريطُ مُصيبَةُ القادِرِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم The fruit of neglect is censure. ثَمَرَةُ التَّفْريطِ مَلامَةٌ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Counter neglect with judiciousness [and resoluteness]. ضادُّوا التفْريطَ بِالحَزْمِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم
