Wickedness is a decrepit fortress, it does not prevent [any harm from reaching] its people, nor... اَلْفُجُورُ دارُ حِصْن ذَلِيل، لايَمْنَعُ أهْلَهُ، ولايُحْرِزُ مَنْ لَجَأَ إلَيْهِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Beware of immoral gatherings, for indeed they anger the Most Merciful and take you to the fire of... إيّاكَ وَمَحاضِرَ الفُسُوقِ، فَإنَّها مُسْخِطَةٌ لِلرَّحْمنِ، مُصْلِيَةٌ لِلنِّيرانِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Wickedness is from the traits of the disbelievers. اَلفُجُورُ مِنْ شِيَمِ الكُفّارِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Verily the wicked comprise of all the oppressive and treacherous people. إنَّ الفُجّارَ كُلُّ ظَلُوم خَتُور۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم The wicked is one who declares [his sins] openly. اَلفاجِرُ مُجاهِرٌ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم There is no [sin for] backbiting for the [openly] corrupt. اَلفاسِقُ لاغيبَةَ لَهُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم The immoral person has no [sense of] caution. اَلفَجُورُ لاتَقِيَّةَ لَهُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم The reign of the wicked is the [cause of] abasement of the virtuous. دُوَلُ الفُجّارِ مَذَلَّةُ الأبْرارِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Flee far away from the wicked, immoral one. فِرُّوا كُلَّ الفِرارِ مِنَ الفاجِرِ الفاسِقِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم The cutting off ties with an immoral person is a gain. قَطيعَةُ الفاجِرِ غُنْمٌ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم There is no affluence with immorality. لَيْسَ مَعَ الفُجُورِ غَناءٌ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم It behoves one who knows the wicked not to act like them. يَنْبَغي لِمَنْ عَرَفَ الفُجّارَ أنْ لايَعْمَلَ عَمَلَهُمْ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم The one who publicizes an immoral act is like the one who has committed it. مُذيعُ الفاحِشَةِ كَفاعِلِها۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم
