Unrest

Unrest (or acquisition [of property]) is accompanied by hardship. اَلفِتْنَةُ (القُنْيَة) مَقْرُونَةٌ بِالعَناءِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم In times of unrest, be like an adolescent camel that has neither udders for milking nor a back... كُنْ فِي الفِتْنَةِ كَابْنِ اللَّبُونِ، لاضَرْعَ فَيُحْلَبَ ولاظَهْرَ فَيُرْكَبَ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم One who ignites the fire of sedition will become fuel for it. مَنْ شَبَّ نارَ الفِتْنَةِ كانَ وَقُوداً لَها۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم One of the greatest tribulations is the continuation of strife. مِنْ أعْظَمِ المِحَنِ دَوامُ الفِتَنِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم I swear by my life that in the flames of unrest [that come after me], the believer will get... قَدْلَعَمْري يَهْلِكُ في لَهَبِ الفِتْنَةِ المُؤْمِنُ، ويَسْلَمُ فيها غَيْرُ المُسْلِمِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم
