Resurrection And The Hour

Blessed is the one who remembers the [Day of] Resurrection and thus increases his provisions. طُوبى لِمَنْ ذَكَرَ المَعادَ فَاسْتَكْثَرَ مِنَ الزَّادِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Blessed is the one who remembers the Resurrection and thus does good [deeds]. طُوبى لِمَنْ ذَكَرَ المَعادَ فَأحْسَنَ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم You must work hard and struggle to improve your Hereafter. عَلَيْكَ بِالجِدِّ والاِجْتِهادِ في إصْلاحِ المَعادِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم The Hour [of reckoning] has shown its face and the sign [of its coming] is evident for the one who... قَدْ أسْفَرَتِ السّاعَةُ عَنْ وَجْهِها، وظَهَرَتِ العَلامَةُ لِمُتَوَسِّمِها۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم The Hour has drawn near with its quakes and it has settled down with its chest on the ground. قَدْ أشْرَفَتِ السّاعَةُ بِزَلازِلِها وَأناخَتْ بِكَلاكِلِها۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم They have risen from the resting place in their graves and gone towards the site of reckoning, and... قَدْ شَخَصُوا عَنْ (مِنْ) مُسْتَقَّرِ الأجْداثِ، وصارُوا إلى مَقامِ الحِسابِ، وأُقيمَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الحُجَجُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم One who improves his Hereafter attains success through the right [course]. مَنْ أصْلَحَ المَعادَ ظَفِرَ بِالسَّدادِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم One who is certain about the Hereafter increases his provisions [for it]. مَنْ أيْقَنَ بِالمَعادِ اِسْتَكْثَرَ مِنَ الزّادِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم The goodness of the Hereafter is [attained] through good deeds. صَلاحُ المَعادِ بِحُسْنِ العَمَلِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم When the horrors of the Day of Reckoning will be witnessed, there will be many who will show... عِنْدَ مُعايَنَةِ أهْوالِ القِيامَةِ تَكْثُرُ مِنَ المُفَرِّطينَ النَّدامَةُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Being occupied with improving your Hereafter will save you from the chastisement of hellfire. اِشْتِغالُكَ بِإصْلاحِ مَعادِكَ يُنْجيكَ مِنْ عَذابِ النّارِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم
