رُبَّ عَطَب تَحْتَ طَلَب۔

Embarking on acts that lead to [places of] destruction is the symbol of foolishness.
رُكُوبُ المَعاطِبِ عُنْوانُ الحَماقَةِ۔

—غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم
Many a person is destroyed after having remained safe [and survived a disaster].
رُبَّ عاطِب بَعْدَ السَّلامَةِ۔
