Preserving Oneself From Sin

Preserving oneself from sin is a blessing. اَلعِصْمَةُ نِعْمَةٌ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم One who is inspired with preservation [from sin] is saved from error. مَنْ أُلْهِمَ العِصْمَةَ أمِنَ الزَّلَلَ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Being unable to sin is [also] a form of preservation [against sin]. مِنَ العِصْمَةِ تَعَذُّرُ المَعاصي۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم
