Correctness

Correctness is [performing] the most appropriate action. اَلصَّوابُ أسَدُّ الفِعْلِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Correctness is one of the branches of deliberation. اَلصَّوابُ مِنْ فُروعِ الرَّوِيَّةِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Increased correctness points to abundant intelligence. كَثْرَةُ الصَّوابِ تُنْبِئُ عَنْ وُفُورِ العَقْلِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم One who strives for correctness becomes successful. مَنْ تَوَخَّي الصَّوابَ أنْجَحَ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم When the answer is overcomplicated, correctness is negated. إذَا ازْدَحَمَ الجَوابُ نُفِيَ الصَّوابُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم
